GREEN GODDESS CHICKEN! . This is an incredible meal that will have you HOOKED. I made this HIGH PROTEIN and LOWCARB with my @Kaizen Food Company lowcarb rice. Just 6 net carbs and 20g protein! Use code TIKTOK to save 20% on my kaizen lowcarb pasta or rice. . You can bake, airfare, grill, or pan fry the chicken. . Here is how to make it: . 1. Add 2lbs chicken thighs to a bowl. Drizzle with 1-2 tbsp olive oil, the juice of a lemon, a couple generous pinches of salt, pepper, 1 tbsp onion powder & 1/2 to 1 tbsp garlic powder. Mix well, then ideally let this marinate for 2 hours to overnight, but if you want to make it right away you can. . 2.Bring a pan to medium heat, add 1 tbsp avocado oil, add chicken, and cook it on medium heat. This takes 12-15mins depending on thickness of chicken. I usually cook first side down for 5 mins, flip for 5, flip for 2, then flip for another 1 min. . 3. Make the green goddess sauce by processing or blending: 1 large handful EACH cilantro, parsley, basil, and chives; a small handful of mint and dill, 1 small shallot, 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 cup creme fraiche, sour cream, or thick yogurt, the zest & juice of 1 lemon, 2 tbsp olive oil, and a generous pinch of salt + pepper. Process well, taste and adjust. . 4.Make the sumac pickled red onions by thinly slicing a red onion. Add to a bowl, sprinkle with 2-3 pinches salt, 1 to 2 tbsp of sumac, and juice of 1 large lemon. Mix well, then let it sit for about 10-15 mins, stirring a couple of times. . 5.Finally, the base. I used my Kaizen lowcarb rice, but you can use rice, cauli rice, quinoa, or whatever you like. I boiled my rice for 5 mins in a mixture of salted water & chicken broth. . 6.When rice is done, add a serving to the bowl, with a heaping handful of greens, some chicken, & pile high with pickled red onions, red radish, fresh herbs, green goddess sauce, & white sesame seeds. . Remember you can get my Kaizen lowcarb rice or pasta on my profile and use code TIKTOK to save 20%, or find it on Amazon. . ENJOY. . . . . #lowcarb #lowcarbrecipes #keto #ketorecipes #healthyrecipes #greengoddess #mealprep #goodmoodfood
