I do agree, for everyones sake. But I also think that the scooters can be very spontaneous- as in you may not even know when you're gonna ride- so no one's going to be carrying a helmet around. They should provide them with the scooters if that's the case. Lol but then there's also the chance of catching lice or something idk

In Quebec, it’s the law to wear a helmet when using an electric vehicle - e-scooter/bike etc. You also must be 18+ in order to ride them.

A girl I know in east Vancouver, smashed her jaw from an e-scooter fall, fractured it, & had to get stitches. blood everywhere. You could see the bone.

There was a guy riding one of these at full speed on the sidewalk on Seymour. I had just stepped out of a restaurant when he came flying by, missing me by inches. He was so close to the entrance that everyone nearby stopped to check if I was okay. I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if he had hit me at that speed. Also, even he must’ve thought it was a close call because he tried to brake and stop, but he was going so fast that he ended up way down the sidewalk before he could. He turned around and kept looking back at the crowd that had gathered around me.
