The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of popular content creator Odogwu of Asaba (Ifeanyi Ogbonna) over allegations linked to the death of a 20-year-old woman. According to police spokesperson SP Bright Edafe, the woman allegedly travelled to Asaba after being invited by the suspect for content creation training. Police allege that she was sexually assaulted and physically abused during the visit. After returning home, she reportedly shared her account of the incident with her family and recorded a video describing her emotional distress before later dying after ingesting a toxic substance. Following a petition, the Commissioner of Police ordered an immediate investigation, which led to the suspect’s arrest. Police say he has made statements during questioning, while investigations continue to establish the full circumstances of the case. These are allegations under active police investigation, and no court has determined criminal liability.
