Nope I learned a long time ago to put the eggs in cold water, bring to a boil and turn off and let sit covered.

If you hit the top and the bottom after they are boiled it breaks the membrane.

I put them in at rolling boil. Still ice bath to stop cooking, especially if I want a jelly yoke. Crack, roll, and shells peel off.

Always see these videos never do you hear not to use ultra fresh eggs, which has less Ph and lack of air. Refrigerate the eggs at least a week to 10 days.

how do I put the eggs in without braking them or splash boiling water on me. I make a lot of pickled eggs and I usually peel them in a bowl of water and it works less often than not.

Just search TikTok for "tap boiled egg". before you boil you tap it on the bottom and you can hear the moment the membrane gives way. Then you boil them.
