I interviewed for a company. I had five interviews one being on a Sunday for them to tell me sorry we found another candidate that Best fits the role but great job making it to the final round. I cried because that was so heartbreaking.

Im here rn doing a home assignment which takes around 4-5 hours for a company and then they want a 60min technical round about the assignment, and then 2 more rounds with vps and executives and ive already done 3 rounds. Imma just call it quits. Im unemployed but this is crazy. I have 3 other interviews next week. I rather try my luck with the other ones.

As an unemployed person this is giving me anxiety because it’s spot on and super ridiculous. It’s proven after 4 rounds there are diminishing returns.
