Daylight savings time has been linked to an increase in stress on everyone that experiences it throughout the country, spiking the suicide rates right along with it as well as health issues from having to force a change into your daily schedule such as less sleep or staying up longer than you're used to. I'm not a researcher or anything, I've just grown up in TN all my life and did research in Highschool on DST for a report and some of that has stuck with me, except for the links to the studies on these things, so I don't have those to add. But as someone who has lived with DST for my whole life I would be very happy to completely remove it and just stick to standard time. no need to make things complicated, just get rid of it all, much like getting rid of a couple extra turns on your commute to work because going straight down the road will get you there all the same and just as fast without extra need to watch where you're turning.

My favorite week of the year is the first week in November when it gets dark at 5 pm and I can get in bed by 6:30!

Hold up!!! What a complete nightmare. It is already silly that Arizona and Hawaii don't do daylight savings, but now we will have to search the Internet every time we go into a state to see what time it is 😲 Torpedo this bill and bring in some common sense! No clock changing, we are all on daylight or not!

I don’t have healthcare, I can’t afford a place to live, and groceries/gas are becoming unaffordable. I’m pissed off, but like, this is neat I guess.

I think I would like it. I get so much more done outside with DST. I hate getting home from work at 4 and it is dark one hour later. It's basically going to work in the dark and going home in the dark the way it is..
