Hotter take, but I don’t think people have conceptualized how manipulative Rox was in the grand scheme of things. If it’s been a recorded thing in the past, what’s stopping him from manipulating Qwel to delay the ban of him and what not? I think all of this has been completely overblown out of the waters and people don’t realize the actual unnecessary damage that has been done. The biggest outlier that no one has taken into consideration is how unfairly the dev team has been treated all because of Rox’s past. It’s completely unfair for a whole community to suddenly get spammed with docs of a situation that happened OUTSIDE OF THE GAME STUDIO’S COMMUNITY and suddenly the dev team unfairly getting doxxed all because of them being within Rox’s vicinity. Sure Qwel could’ve probably handled the situation a bit better, but it all falls under Rox’s fault. You can’t just say that Qwel is a manipulator over loose evidence and word of mouth. Overall, I think the community being full of immature children that will use the same logic of “if a p*do drinks water, then whoever makes water is supporting them!” even though that’s not how that works. Qwel and Rox were unfortunately friends for a long time and she didn’t understand the context of the drawings until 2 months before his ban. Yall need to actually look at the bigger picture and understand that this isn’t some sort of game.

THIS!!!! I hate how everyone is saying the same exact thing! Qwel spoke about one of the things she was LEGALLY able to speak about and have her reasoning to why she let it happen, and she said she was sorry for it.. I've been in a very similar situation so I have sympathy for her and I hope one day she takes accountability for everything else... People really just need to be patient and hear the rest of what they have to say, there could be so much more to the lawsuit and so many more reasons to why it was made, WE DO NOT KNOW QWEL'S SIDE!!!! We need to wait and listen before automatically assuming Qwel is a heartless monster, It could be just like what happened with the pressure devs!

A thing that kinda irks me is that the original accuser (idk his name) is friends with Rox and had previously tried this already so I'm very skeptical to what he says. But I hope she does a follow-up statement to tie off some questions the community has on what she didn't include.

as someone currently under a gag order by lawyers, THIS IS WHAT I TRY TELLING OTHERS!!!! if qwel is who she put herself out the there to be, we can assume she desperately wants to get EVERYTHING out and explain every detail and apologize, but is completely incapable of doing so to keep evidence from getting spread wrongly and protect the victims from naysayers who want to accuse them for working with Rox

she cant apologize without admitting to being guilty, and any apologies will be used against her in court. its why she doesnt name rox nor any of the victims in her response - doing so would be an indirect admission of guilt and allow the response to be used against her in court

Honestly I felt her apology was just like. Placating in nature so she could do a proper followup with her own proof later. Im gonna stay right where I am until I see that followup because she could turn out to be innocent and most of the proof weve been shown could be entirely doctored (ai and photoshop are very accessable) and Id rather not go full gung-ho on jumping her if its a lie. Id rather hear all the facts from both sides.

I did feel like it was full of excuses, and I wish she made the part about how this was all she was greenlit to LEGALLY say was made more apparent so it could understood that this wasn’t all she was gonna say to address it. yeah,based on what qwel posted there's a lot of legal stuff going on so she can't say much until more came out. I only joined a few months so I am staying neutral as for now but Idk what else is going on in the DW community however I felt bad for the victims as they don't deserve what happened to them but until then,with the confirmation of a legal team is dealing with this we have to wait for more info about the situation at hand.
