Now thinking back on my own personality as well as my parents, it makes even less sense. Like we were not hard core about faith, we went to church more out of perceived obligation than actual excitement to be there. Why did I join and why did they support that decision?!

So to what extent, or how far, have you deconstructed? Is it deconstruction or reconstruction? Has this caused any tension within your family? I think that it is often the case that the more tightly controlled is the culture, the more “drama“ is created when we ask questions. And NEVER touch the puppets’ faces!

We were not thriving but I was on the puppet team for the time it briefly existed. Usually one person was the puppet voice and one person controlled the puppet. So they could use more kids lol
