This wasn’t the Azteca, we didn’t need to sit back, after Gordon’s goal we should’ve been making aggressive substitutions, we had all the momentum & should’ve been pressing the advantage, instead we wimp out yet again. Gutted!!

All English pundits are oblivious to how Saka, Rashford, Gordon and Rogers are risk averse, technically deficient duds. You could argue it made sense to go defensive at the Azteca, but completely wrong against Argentina. It was never going to work. He should have refreshed the attack so at least if we conceded we had a decent chance in extra time. If we are positive and lose I think we can live with that, but to be negative and lose is unacceptable.
