I’m the girl the hired to implement AI …. A lot of companies just see the wins after a successful implementation. No one talks about change management & process improvement when looking at AI solutions

I’m currently in a mandatory AI training series at work. Hour long courses a couple days a week. But they didn’t go this hard teaching us to use the systems that we actually use to get the work done 😭

My company is pushing it HARD. My boss actually runs an AI workshop regularly for the entire network (across the U.S.). I’ve always been hesitant to dabble in it but have done so more and more in the last 2-3 months and I hate to say it but it’s been saving me HOURS a weeks worth of time on data analytics, auditing my work, and pulling metrics from multiple different dashboards. People need to realize that AI is here to stay. You either get on board and learn it or get left behind.

My job is really jumping on the bandwagon not in a please use AI way, but in a if you find good uses for it, share it in department meetings and leadership positions to help the implementation of it. Kind of way. I don’t like it. I vocally said something negative about it to my boss and he secretly agreed but told me to keep it shhh. 🫠

I’ve been working in healthcare adjacent fuel since my 20s and I recently left a job reasons, but one of which was how much they were pushing AI. The new company I’m working for does not encourage AI use at all, and we definitely look sideways at people who mentioned using it for their reports. I don’t think I could ever work for a place that pushed it again.

This culture of tokenmaxing won’t last long, I think rn these AI companies are spending money searching for an actual use case but the money will likely dry up before they can find one (that actually makes them money at least, since AI coders is likely a bust)

I recently just made a video about being in a room with top level execs at very prominent companies for over a week and AI was the incessant topic of conversation. They were all talking about how to center AI in every aspect of business. I’m talking about companies we use every day. AI is coming in HOT like it or not.

My company is using it heavily in other departments. Thankfully our CFO and Controller are taking their time rolling it out in our department. But, it has dominated our town halls starting in Q3 2025.
