My mom is very conservative and unfortunately MAGA, but she's also a science teacher. She had no issues accepting me as trans because she felt like there was probably a scientific explanation for it during development in the womb. We just don't fully understand it yet.

i think this is something we should learn in schools because not only may it help you understand yourself but also the people around you. it’s disappointing that the uk has now made it a law to use bathrooms assigned to your birth gender and it shows how uneducated everyone is about transgenderism. i think maybe if people understood it was a biological thing then there would be less prejudice and discrimination against transgender people.

There was an interesting Pixar movie a while back called Wall-e. Now Walle was a little box shaped clean up robot. Walle was kind gentle and liked nice things. Then Walle met Eva. A white floating robot who is hard and powerful. Now notwithstanding their characteristics, Wall-e was identified by the audience as a boy robot and Eva as a girl. There is no obvious biological indicators or any behaviour patterns but they were unmistakably gendered by the audience even though Wall-e did girl stuff like cry at movies and get sentimental over a cockroach. Eva was focus mission driven and showed little emotion and still there was no doubt about their gender. This made me think a lot about what is gender and how exactly do people perceive it. People recognise gender within a second. What is it that that they see. I have tested this. And you only have to see a very small part of someone to gender them like a knee or an arm and its enough. As a trans women I obviously want to be perceived as a woman, especially by myself, so what does Eva have😁❤️❤️❤️
