She was her cousin, niece, step-daughter, and future daughter in law. She raised her from like 7 onwards. I think she would have probably had her out there fighting for her cause during the war. Maybe house arrest after the war. Some form of punishment for acting without approval. I do not think book Rhaenyra would kill her. Maybe exile her to Essos if she was really mad.

Rhaenyra would have been deeply hurt, while also understanding the dragon bond and that Rhaena had no chance of getting Sheepstealer to avoid the battle. Remember when she encountered Adam of Hull, she said "can you get him to Dragonstone" because she knows that Adam is not in control yet. Rhaenyra would have shown mercy.

I think Rhaenyra would have made her give Sheepstealer up as punishment. He’s a wild dragon and can’t be trusted so he wouldn’t be useful to her in the war. She’d hurt her by taking her dragon away but she wouldn’t have killed her.

Rhaenyra has been the stand-in mother to Rhaena since she was a child. She would never have hurt her, even in her anger and grief. She would’ve been angry of course, about Jace and about the younger boys being sent to Pentos alone, so Rhaena would no doubt be punished. But never harmed.

Alicient is no longer fighting the war. Her sons are gone. Amon is dead and Aragon is close to death. She believes Darion, Helena and her grandchildren will remain safe. Alicient’s sons were always going to be killed if they couldn’t keep the throne.

I think it fully depends on how far into her madness and paranoia she is when Rhaena turned herself in. Rhaenyra's becoming more unraveled and with Jace literally haunting her, she could have a much stronger response than she usually would

yeah, I 100% think that she would've forgiven her. The show is just not being consistent in general. And I hate what they've done with Alicent. S1ep7 was Alicent, since then it's been a downturn.... but I agree. I think the nettles story is the book just put in to Rhaena. I always thought nettles was his daughter.....

Rhaena was giving excuses to Daemon to not go back. She was feeling heavy with guilt that she cannot look anyone in the Queen's family in the eye for killing the sweetest prince AND abandoning her other sons heading to Pentos 😭😭😭 She is a teenager and it made sense she was gonna just dodge the adults, especially since she has a DRAGON and can go wherever she wanted. How was Daemon supposed to stop a wild dragon without killing both? Teenagers run away from home for the smallest things. Rhaena going into self-exile (running away from home) made sense in this version of HOTD.

I don’t believe she’d hurt rhaena but I do maybe feel if sheep steeler was unruly and untrustworthy she’d have the dragon slayed also I mean rhaena probably wouldn’t be allowed to keep sheep steeler because for those who saw she’d be labled a kin slayer so they probably wouldn’t want that out there.
