corsets help when I have to be sitting or standing for any length of time. I also literally tie my legs together when I have to sit like a normal person.

Compression leggings from marena (the lipedema ones in particular) and KT tape for back and neck support on the bad days. Also a little blowup ball to roll out my lower abs. I spent a year+ in pelvic floor therapy which would definitely help all that as well but I know that’s not always possible with American healthcare

If you can handle it from a sensory perspective (I sometimes cannot lollll), compression gear of any type is life-changing!! I wear high waisted shapewear shorts pretty much every day under my dresses. Not for skinny, but for support!!! Posture correcting bras, compressive leggings, compression shirts, etc. it all helps hold me together 😭 shoes with good arch support are a must, also!! And this probably goes without saying, but hydration cannot be overstated. Especially if you are on any medications.

I literally don’t know. I’ve gotten worse over time but I can’t afford to stop working. I get home and feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. The advice I have is that if you can afford it, sometimes a massage therapist helps me, I also went to a PT who knew about hypermobility and that helped a lot. I stopped doing the exercises and it got worse again but I’m trying to get back into it. Even if you can’t afford PT I bet you can find some helpful videos that teach some good exercises
