As per usual my takes and tags: Love-O-Matic @Room 1015 I don’t care what anyone says, those trash bags smell great. I’m not one of those lucky people that get the bubblegum with this one, but I do think it’s an absolutely gorgeous clean girl laundry scent with nuclear projection power. Silver Linings @younji I wandered on to this perfumers Etsy site and I could not be happier I did. This scent brought me back to young motherhood and getting littles ready for bed. Clean skin, bedtime lotion and the crisp sweet smell of sugary toothpaste. Trust me on this one. It actually made me emotional in the bestest and most beautiful way. Not only is this basically the lavender scent of my dreams, it’s incredibly unique, lasted 6 hours on my skin and projected well. Get it before everyone catches on to how dang good it is. No seriously. Quickly. (Ps: her other 3 scents are just as purchase worthy. Crazy.) Mixed Emotions Byredo. Honestly, I thought it before he said it. Medicinal and a hard nope. Jardin de L’Orangerie @driesvannoten Every DVN I’ve tried has been infuriatingly stunning. This one is no exception and a gorgeous example of how orange blossom can be done in a unique and elevated way. The ylang ylang is bright, the neroli and jasmine give it a slightly tropical feel. Man. I could smell this all day. The ultimate old money summer scent. Elixir 12 Kayali I have no idea where the plot went wrong with this one, but it’s comes across synthetic and mechanical. I kinda get floral, I kinda get apple, but then the overage of amber and patchouli really take it in an off putting direction. I can firmly state this one is not for me.
