There’s no escaping the housing/lodging math, but feels like the culture has changed too - there used to be a popular culture pride in thrift and diy - not so much anymore - I think that adds to men’s shame where “more money” is the only option

Amazing view as always. It is so much harder to get ahead now so people are always looking for a get rich quick scheme or some sort it loophole. Boring investing in registered accounts doesn’t get views and clicks like fake Polymarket “wins”.
