Court documents show that Zahara, 21, published her petition to drop the actor’s surname in the Los Angeles Daily Journal once a week for four consecutive weeks. The filing states that her notice ran in the paper on June 16, June 23, June 30 and July 7. The newspaper ad also calls for anyone opposing the change to submit a written opposition before the final hearing. Zahara now has a scheduled September 28 court hearing for a judge to rule on the motion. If no one objects, the judge can approve the request.
