openAI has the superior product objectively. You may hate it. You may not use it but objectively it is the best product on the market and only getting better. Their Codex team has put them over the top.

The keyboard / hardware is from a smaller company known to do this. They partnered with Figma and I believe at least one other company to rebadge their pad. It's just a set of hotkey macros. It's odd but I suspect it took them about zero effort to do and may have been pitched to them not the other way around. OpenAi does love side quests though

I never believed in the supposed valuation of OpenAI - they may have gotten it right first, but this isn't the first smartphone like Apple had. AI models are being created left and right continuously and it can only go faster.
