I had an emergency c section after prepping for a natural birth. My epidural was not working at all and unfortunately I felt the entire thing.

my wife was in labor for 36 hours before we got the c-section. we are expecting our second and a planned c section is a strong possibility

As someone with really bad period cramps you have to take the meds before the pain gets bad, and Im sure thats even worse with birth 🥲

I had a back labor… guess what doesn’t work so well during a back labor. My back spasms were terrible

I had a CSF leak after a spinal surgery, which is also a common complication of epidurals. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, I was unable to do anything than lie flat as a board, and sitting up at all would give me a killer headache that wouldn’t fade unless I was lying down

I was in labor for 24 hours and got an emergency c section. they kept telling me the baby was crowning for like 4 hours. his head was stuck in my pelvis and it was just turning into a cone. they would have made me go longer if one of the nurses who wasnt even helping with my birth didnt go and get the doctor😭
