This might sound nuts, she could have an allergy to fleas. Some of the bald spots look like common hotspots for fleas.

hey, vet here, I have seen this before. it is a hypersensitive skin to flee bite. she scratches it for it is very itchy. it only takes one flee bite to get to this.

That almost looks like an allergy. It’s a form of dermatologist they can get on their skin. It’s probably something in the environment that’s causing it. I.e. she’s allergic to a lot of the vegetation or pollen and so on so forth. Is there a time where you don’t see it and then that can kind of help you pinpoint the time it’s more likely to happen. I hope it helps.

My cat looked like this once because she had fleas. She was allergic to them so she was scratching and grooming herself till she had bald spots and open wounds

possibly she's opening the wounds herself. if she's constantly getting attacked by other cats and the wannabe ballerina ankle bites, she's probably really stressed. which often leads to over grooming. that would cause the wounds to open back up

It looks like what my cat has/had Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex (EGC) when ever he gets a flare up the vet prescribes steroids

I was going to say. She could be doing it from stress. My cat scratches and pulls her hair out when she is stressed. Also it could be an allergy. Like something she is rubbing against or eating

My male cat was indoor outdoor and he’d get cuts and stuff like that from trying to get into fights and getting the shit beat out of him. He healed and very rarely goes outside now, but that’s what his wounds looked like. 🥺 his ears are permanently sliced cause of bites. But this was him this morning. Chunk.
