Thing is, they’re mirrors of eachother. Alastor cheated his way to the top in the afterlife, but in life he did work hard for everything. Whereas for vox, he cheated his way to the top in life, but worked hard for it in hell. They’re both frauds at different points in their lives lmao

Vox was always better than Alastor because Alastor made a deal for his powers while Vox got his naturally when he died, this man got electricity, wires, and hypnosis powers all based on how he killed people while he was alive. Meanwhile Alastor all he got naturally was being a deer (cause that fucker got confused as one)😭

oh please, stop underestimating Alastor and Vox is sloppy too. despite having power Alastor had to work to get hell's respect and it was probably hard to do all of those rituals. getting his power before hell is very smart and impressive. you're calling Alastor sloppy when he was killing in the swap at night alone and was never caught so who cares? Vox doing a meeting with a technical hazard and ruining his own reputation in a day isn't sloppy?
