I think the thought of losing his wife and not being able to see his son anymore got to his mental health.

The crazy part is that Indonesian 🇮🇩 Immigration 🛂 is the fairest in the world because they don’t want to damage tourism - they give two options i) pay for the overstay at Rp. 1,000,000/day (USD$55.35) OR ii) get deported and be blacklisted for 6 months.

Men's mental health is something which is not talked about much. Traditionally, grown men are supposed to be the strongest cohort of the society and due to this most of us keep absorbing so much pain and sadness within our heart and brain. And then something sudden, which may appear so small or usual to others may just flip the switch for us. Really sad. I hope and pray his soul rests in peace 🙏
