@its_danielleryan: When people make your pregnancy the family drama 😅 Can anyone relate? ⬇️ #familydrama #boundaries #skit #pregnancyannouncement #pregnancyannouncementfail
Its so rude. This investigating if someone is pregnant needs to die out. You never know if someone is struggling with fertility or even loss!

I DESPISE coworkers who do this. I called in sick one day bc I was throwing up. When I came back I had several ppl congratulate me for being pregnant. I asked what they meant & the trouble makers chimes in with a snooty smile "well it's pretty obvious youre pregnant if you are throwing up 🙄😏" I looked at her with a straight face "& who tf told you I even had a uterus? 😤 bc mines been gone since i was 10 😠 but yay me! i magically have a uterus again & have a miraclebaby i guess 😤 wow thank you doctor jesus" she left the room 🙄

If someone isn’t telling you that there pregnant… it’s probably for a reason lol. Like if they want to tell you they would 😭😭😭

I hid my last pregnancy and everyone lost their minds. My mom constantly harasses my sister about if I’m pregnant or not. We’re no contact and she’s blocked.

I thought it was common to keep it a “secret” until later into the pregnancy, like an old wives tale

I believe it is a kind of tradition to not say anything for 3 months because of the chances of miscarriage. So women want to grief in peace when finding out early.

with my last pregnancy I got really nervous because I worked in an OBGYN office and prior to getting pregnant we had like 5-6 patient losses within a short amount of weeks and one patient was 8 months along. So I wanted to wait to tell our family I was pregnant because I was so nervous and when we finally did my husband made a comment to his mom about "I wanted to tell you sooner but she wanted to wait" and my MIL said "Good! It's happening to HER body!" And he was like

Oh my god. I’ve been dealing with “pregnancy watch” since I got married 2 years ago. Literally every single pound I put on or any time I was a little tired or I didn’t go straight for wine was commented on. Now that I am pregnant, I’m not even excited about telling people. I just want to scream at them for what they’ve put me through.

My mother (who I’m no contact with and have been for 3 years) said “wow thanks for letting me know” on my FRIENDS POST about her mentioning that I finally get to have a daughter. (I was 7 months pregnant already lmaooo)

we waited until like 14 weeks along to tell our parents because we found out i am a carrier for SMA and we were waiting on my husbands carrier results to come in, in case anything happened to the baby or medical intervention had to be taken. once we told them they all said they knew or suspected it but luckily they never said anything to me about it. it would’ve really upset me and my heart goes out to people in these situations 💕🌷

my mom is sure I was not telling her because of how I thought she would react and not because I wasnt 12 weeks. Im currently 11 weeks with twjns on my second pregnancy and I've been showing for almost a month so we had to tell earlier, but shes so sure its about her and not us

When I told my dad and step mom she immediately posted on Facebook BUT her daughter just found out she was pregnant too a few days before me and my step mom was like oh we are waiting to post until after the first trimester. I was 6 weeks pregnant and hadn’t planned on posting about it yet and it was my first baby too

I did kinda wait but not 3 months I waited until I had confirmation that the baby was 1)viable and 2) not ectopic but I do understand why they wait the 3 months. That was my decision. People even family need to Butt out

I lost my first baby at 12 weeks, so I didn’t announce this baby until almost 14 or 15 weeks because you never know what could happen. Thankfully, I’m now 34 weeks with my perfect rainbow baby. I didn’t even tell my mom when I found out I was pregnant. Only my husband and my best friend in the whole wide world knew. She eventually did ask because she had noticed my morning sickness and I did tell her, but she wasn’t weird about it. She was mostly worried that if I wasn’t pregnant that I was really really sick😂

I've been trying for 6 months and still nothing. My family keeps asking my husband and I if we are already pregnant and we obviously say no and they continue with the, "are you sure?" like yes, very sure, I'm actively bleeding. Then they say, "don't think about getting pregnant and it will happen" "the more you think about it, the harder it'll be" like, y'all aren't helping...

Some people choose to wait and deny if they have had a miscarriage or the pregnancy has problems. Its a self defense mechanism. People who announce get people saying congratulations all the time and then you lose the baby and then people get weird and say wrll you can try again right? The mother is grieving the loss while everyone else goes on because their body didn't just fluctuate hormones suddenly.
