Normally when we book a driver there and it’s a long journey we stop for lunch and buy them lunch also. But you don’t have to, it’s just what most people there do

When I got to Nica I met a driver that changed my whole stay - I was there for 8 months and if he couldn't drive me his father or brother did - I felt so safe and cared for.

They know one bad incident can bring down the number of tourists visiting the country. Also, Sri Lanka has a 2500-year-old history and a predominantly Buddhist culture with Hinduism and Catholic influence as well. Also, there is no capital punishment!!

What no one is noticing about this video is that she asked him who he was waiting for and asked to see the name in message to confirm before she even said it. so she didn’t just say ‘for grace’ and he could have just said yes and abducted her. She confirmed first. She is being safe, she does know what she’s doing, she has been travelling for years

It’s always so crazy to see the comments in your videos from other Americans!! Idk why we have a brain washed view of travel and how it can be mostly dangerous:( to me I always felt safer in other countries than I ever did in America especially in SEA. Some of the kindest people on the earth are in SEA. I wish everyone would open up their eyes and see.
