IQ tests your working memory, so unless you’re able to compensate a lot you will have a low IQ specially bc of the ADHD. The test is made to punish neurodiversity

If you have any learning disabilities (ie dyslexia, dyscalculia) an IQ test will not be accurate. Some testing places can give an alternative maths-free one but it’s rare, I’ve heard. (And yes, even telling what shape comes next in a pattern is maths… shapes are part of that subject)

Don’t understand why the response to someone reporting low iq is to then insist that they either do not have low iq or dismiss iq outright as a measure of intelligence. It’s not a bad thing to have low iq. Plenty of great people have low iq. They may require the occasional accommodation, but it doesn’t make them “less than.” It’s an incredibly ableist mindset to try and other yourself for xyz reason as to avoid being lumped in with a presumed “inferior” demographic.

I have a nd child that came to me school age originally they told me his IQ was 60 and then two years later 70. He can't sit down for 5 seconds but he's smarter than most people. I would literally have to have him spend like an entire day with a psych for them to really understand what he can do. I wouldn't give a shit about that number if I were you

As someone with two standard deviations above the average IQ, it's not as valuable as you think. What matters in friends is empathy and conscience. High IQ just gives you access to more dangerous tools and makes it harder to relate to the average person, and what you feel as normal speech always comes off as belittling or pretentious. In my opinion IQ tests are often a poor measurement of intelligence in people with learning disabilities. If you have ADHD it’s likely you have some sort of LD as well. I have ADHD and severe dyscalculia, struggle to even count properly. I received multiple university scholarships and my average shot wayyy up once I was able to drop math from my required subjects lol.
