@chiomyglad: A tragic incident has sparked outrage after the déàth of a young woman identified as Favour Agbro, 21years old from Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. According to reports, Favour contacted a popular Asaba-based content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, 44 years old, widely known as Odogwu Asaba, after seeing his claims of helping young people monetize their TikTok and Facebook pages to gain views and generate income. It is alleged that after inviting her to Asaba for what was presented as a content creation and social media monetization training, he asked her to accompany him into a hotel room. Favour had reportedly made it clear during their WhatsApp conversations that she was a vïrgïñ and was not interested in any romantic or sexual relationship. She believed she was attending a legitimate training session. However, her family alleges that once inside the room, she was séggxúàlly àssàúltéd against her will. According to the account, she cried for help and later contacted her twin sister to report what had happened. She also informed her mother, who immediately sent her transport fare so she could return to Warri. The reports further state that Favour sought assistance from an activist but was allegedly discouraged after being told that the suspect was influential and that pursuing justice would be difficult. Sadly, overwhelmed by the trauma, Favour allegedly tøøk her own life by ingesting a pøïsøñøús substance. The suspect has since been arrested by the police. Reports indicate that he has expressed a desire to reach a settlement with the victim's family. However, because rààpé is a criminal offence prosecuted by the state, any private settlement would not automatically end the criminal proceedings. If investigators determine that sufficient evidence exists, the case will continue through the justice system, particularly given the allegation that the events ultimately contributed to the victim's death. This heartbreaking case has renewed calls for justice, accountability, and stronger protection for vulnerable young people seeking opportunities in the digital content creation industry. May her soul rest in peace 🙏 May OdogwuAsaba svff3r for the rest of his life... Amen
