Pickford centre of the goal has a blocked view. He has 10 man in his box and no one pressed except Jude who nearly gets there hence his frustration. No Pickford slander he made incredible saves and this one wasn’t an easy save

the goalkeepers job is to cover as much of the goal as he can. To do this you have be able to see the ball as it’s struck. if pickford stands more central and can’t see the ball he’s not covering any of the goal because he won’t have time to react to a shot that isn’t directly at him. Pickford sacrifice half a yard to be able to see the ball so he can cover as much of the goal (front post and middle) as he can. Pickford also has to consider jude running out to the ball and a block from him can possibly cover the entire back post, which just leave the front post for jordan pickford to cover. there is so many nuances to goalkeeper and it varies for every situation. Jordan Pickford does the ring thing here and was class the entire game. Enzo should never have that type of space to shoot from the edge of the box. Btw all the traffic in the box starts with tuchels decision to park the bus and have every england player behind the ball and no one stepping out, creates unnecessary traffic infront of pickford which ultimately leads to the goal.
