@trial_trackers: Kianna Davis took the witness stand on Day 3 and denied ever harming her 2-year-old son, Karter Ambrose. She also said Kiyon Benton would not have hurt him and testified that Karter would have complained if something was wrong. Jurors watched two additional police interviews in which investigators confronted Davis with the injuries documented during Karter’s autopsy. The State and defense then rested, both sides delivered closing arguments, and the jury began deliberating. Davis is charged with seven counts, including malice murder, felony murder and child cruelty, in connection with Karter’s November 2020 death. Prosecutors allege he suffered fatal blunt force trauma to the abdomen and did not receive immediate medical treatment. Davis has pleaded not guilty. #TrueCrime #Courtroom #Trial
