The real story behind this house is a double tragedy and a massive legal dead-zone: **1. The 1st Owner:** This was originally built for a Maryland cardiologist, Dr. Hector Collison. Tragically, in 2008, he and his 15-year-old son died in a plane crash. Without his income, his grieving family was financially wiped out and forced to walk away from the unfinished mansion before the bank foreclosed. **2. The 2nd Owner:** In 2009, a wealthy Nigerian businessman/politician named Ime Umanah bought the house. He moved in, furnished it, and filled it with luxury gear and cars (including that Jaguar). But in a wild twist of fate, history repeated itself—in 2015, Umanah was killed in a car crash back in Nigeria. **3. Why the stuff is still there:** After Umanah died, his family overseas and a local associate got locked in a massive, multi-year court battle over his inheritance. Because the estate is stuck in probate court and millions in property taxes haven't been paid, the law completely freezes everything. The bank and the county legally cannot touch, sell, or destroy a single car or piece of clothing until a judge decides who officially owns it. So, it just rots!
