I have a brick patio and ants freaking LOVE it. They dig out all the sand underneaths into aunt hills and weeds are always growing between the bricks. We don’t like spraying because we have dogs. I would go with stamped concrete.

Do native plants in your front yard. They won’t require as much work and you don’t have to worry about growing grass. There’s even native ground cover in Florida and it’s beautiful.

Make sure the pavers can hold a cars weight. And not textured. They hold dirt easily.

Make sure to get it sealed right after install this will help the longevity and easier for cleaning with a power washer over time. Don’t cheap out when getting it done I’ve seen my fair share of people messing up their brick creating a white cast.

☘️Low maintenance huh? Have you looked into replacing some of your left over patches of grass with micro clover? Looks like grass, doesn’t need much mowing, stays greener longer than grass, and pollinators love it.

My mom’s lawn was like this when she moved to Florida. Sadly, it took a lot of time and fresh soil and sod to be laid down before her grass would thrive. It was worth it though! The yard looks beautiful now.
