I dont think anyone knows why the chip sector was down exactly. The entire sector was down not just memory. Also the sector is following closely with the Kopsi. Word is it that retailers are deleveraging their ETFs.

Yes... that's a big part of the danger when a stock tanks 20-30% and then starts to come back up... people start scalping before it gets a chance to get back on track.
