He actually stopped because googans started pulling up to these ancient holes he was showing and ruining them. Thats why he did the conservation show after river monsters. They just said that so they wouldn’t highlight anymore fish for trophy hunters to go kill. He claimed river monsters was more of a documentary of finding the last giants left rather than the ones capable of growing that big.
