She actually did not have heat exhaustion because if she did, they would not put a BLANKET on her. She has an autoimmune called hashimotos that caused her body temp to drop significantly while they passed waterfalls and in the past it has caused her seizures. Also, the billing situation is a lie that has been mainly spread by a man named Neurodivergent Nate online. She has replied to comments on her page about the situation and billing and she has stated that nobody is handling the bill and that it is nowhere near 70k because airlifts and rescues in national parks are free for serious medical situations because taxes pay for that service and we cannot generalize national park rescue services with hospital transport like ambulances because they have different funding.
