8man for me is a character that I see a reflection of a part of myself. I used to be somewhat like him. I never really got why I had to bring myself to make connections. I used to think being alone wasnt so bad. Finding solitutde in it myself, and that it was enough for me. This series has helped me realise how bogus that is. I never found solitude in it. Yet I kept ignoring that feeling and leaving it as that. The truth is, I really wanted something genuine, like he did. One where I can just be myself, and one I didnt have to worry about losing again because I would know it couldnt be so loose. That singular line, "I want something genuine.", was a line that silently changed everything for me. Its so sad to me how plenty drop the series because of how "boring" it is or how "slow" the romance pacing is. Because they're missing out on the beautiful message that that im sure all of us wanted at one point. 8man will always be a character for me I will hold in my heart and one I can say for sure is goated.
