Clark was honestly more redeemable than Bear ever was.

This movie was so much better than obsession if you actually got that it was a movie about mental health and falling deeper into the hopelessness of insanity and alter egos. This movie was so good

Maybe the Backrooms aren’t scary because they’re empty. They’re scary because they remind us of places, moments, and versions of ourselves we can never truly go back to. The more we chase the past, the farther the present feels. Memories can become both a comfort and a prison, and sometimes the hardest part isn’t escaping the Backrooms it’s letting go of the hope that the exit leads back to yesterday. Maybe that’s where the real fear comes from, and maybe that’s also how we finally find our way forward I realized that myself. For a while, I kept looking back because I thought there was something waiting for me there. In reality, I was holding onto memories more than the moment I was living in. It hurts realizing some chapters are over, but accepting that has brought me more peace than trying to relive what can’t come back.

He wasn’t the best person but he wasn’t the worst either. He was very deeply flawed but one thing I like is that he’s self aware of how he is and shows regret

I like that he asked “how do I stop doing that?” He did want to be better & wanted her to provide an answer & her saying it’s not up to her gave him the option to decide to stay the way he was since he’s tried & never got better
