That smoky flavour from the bacon takes it to a whole new level… 🤤 Save this recipe for later 🧡 🛒 Ingridients (4 portions) 🍗 500 g chicken strips 🥓 200 g streaky bacon 🥛 200 ml double cream 🍅 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved 🥬 Handful of spinach (optional) 🧀 Parmesan cheese, grated (to taste) 🧈 1 tbsp butter or olive oil 🧂 1 chicken stock cube 🧂 Salt & black pepper For the mash: 🥔 Potatoes 🥛 Hot milk 🧂 Salt 📝 Steps 1️⃣ Wrap each chicken strip with a slice of streaky bacon. 2️⃣ Heat the butter or olive oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken for 5 minutes on each side until the bacon is golden. Remove from the pan and set aside. 3️⃣ In the same pan, add the cherry tomatoes and spinach together. Cook for 5 minutes until the tomatoes begin to soften. 4️⃣ Pour in the double cream, crumble in the chicken stock cube and stir through a generous handful of grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper (if needed - stock contains salt)  5️⃣ Return the chicken to the pan, cover with a lid and cook for approx to 10 minutes on low/medium heat, or until the chicken is cooked through 6️⃣ Meanwhile, prepare the mashed potatoes. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
