my husband was a big guy full of laughter and then he became very ill. I was so happy he lived and we tackled it all together. I still had moments where I grieved the man I met because he did change. his appearance, his energy but never his heart. it's weird to grieve someone who is alive, but it's ok to feel it a little bit. I'm so happy for both of you that you have each other. True love will survive.
