@sacredrebeltattoo: Wow.. 1 year ago today I did my last tattoos at the old shop before I quit and pursued the venture of opening Sacred Rebel Tattoo. I fortunately was able to lean on Cielo Connection per the graces of Kate while I figured things out, and was able to continue with appointments that week without skipping a beat. I attempted a Kickstarter to crowdfund capital for opening expenses but faced nothing but roadblocks. Then my dear friend came along and offered to help fund my opening expenses and I was able to secure the location I'm currently at in the Anasazi Building mid September That led to me hitting the ground running, and I was open 4 weeks later on October 22nd The moment I knew I needed to quit and go my own way, it was scary, I had no clue how it was going to happen, if it was sustainable, or where I would be going ... I surrendered and trusted in the process. 6 months into being open, I was building serious momentum but let the business start to run ME.. then my motorcycle accident happened. I was forced to surrender again.. trust in the process... And once again lean on community support. I'm entirely thankful for everyone who contributed to my GoFundMe while I recovered with my injuries. I'm still healing, but I'm fortunate to be tattooing again, even if it's part time. Sacred Rebel Tattoo continues to grow and evolve in a leap of faith as I continue to trust the process and move forward despite the challenges that arise. This is how the Sacred Rebel rises... This is why I keep going... Not because it's easy, but because sovereignty is worth it. So for anyone reading this, if you're feeling pulled to follow a dream, a vision, and it feels crazy, unrealistic, or unattainable.. this is your sign to START.
