Girlll you’ll get there, I just picked it up literally like two days ago and this was me this morning. I feel like the more time you spend working on it the better because I spent like 5 hours practicing first day and my grips are better now. Also things for grip will help for sure

Doing outside workouts (weights/ flexibility training) helps ALOT. Also helps prevent injuries. Have fun! 💕

i halfass have my ballerina and im only on day 4. if youve done sports before it really helps out! also watching tuts, stretching before each session, and learning the fundamentals before trying cool spins!

I keep trying to tell people that this takes an insane amount of strength you can’t just hop on a pole

It’s super technical and a lot harder than it looks, I recommend trying to practice at least twice a week for 1-2 hrs each session and following online tutorials, start with your basic moves first, never try and skip to harder stuff immediately, that’s just asking for an injury, good luck 🩷🩷

a lot of people are eager to do tricks but conditioning for pole is really important too so don't be discouraged if tricks are hard at first, also if any videos say "beginner pole moves" and has literally any kind of invert move on bc there's no beginner moves that involve going upside down trust

I have a pole in my house don't give up! I can do a decent amount of pole tricks including inverted crucifix and I'm 6 months in. I do it maybe every other night. I just put my earbuds in, minimal clothes (skin grabs the pole), make sure the pole is sanitized ( helps with grip) and do my thing. you can do it girl! 🖤
