In order for an individual today to have the same home purchasing power as a minimum wage earner in the 1950s they would need to be making $42/hr. Same home purchasing power as a minimum wage earner in the 80s, $28/hr. I bought my first house in 2000 with an entry level job. That same job doesn't even rent a 1 bdrm apartment today. You're out of touch with why these new generations are pissed off and I don't blame them.

They forget that assistant living is expensive because this generation will not take care of their parents and with an attitude like these kids have it is no wonder boomers are holding on to their wealth. Can you imagine how long they’ll blow the money they could have gotten ?
