hello, my name is atticus. i first found out i wasn't straight when i was 8. at first i was aroace and a cisgender female, however, when i was 10 i identified as a lesbian oriented aroace and a demigirl, a few months later i discovered i felt more comfortable using just they/them, and discovered i was nonbinary. then i thought i was agender, then genderfluid, then transgender, then agender, genderflux, and then transgender. i didnt feel like i fit into any of those labels, then i finally settled on pangender. just today i discovered i am most likely either pangender or apagender, along with being panromantic and aroace. i have been shamed for my identity, called a girl when i thought i was genderless, told i can only be male or female, told loving someone of my gender is a sin, felt guilty for not being cisgender and straight, and lots more. i recently came out to my cousin, i'm not planning on coming out to any of my other family members anytime soon. i deserve sunshine too.
