I grew up in Halifax,Dartmouth. I raised my four children there and now they have their own families but in 2014 I left because the violence became to much . All my children either know someone whose been unalived and know people who has taken a live the first time they had a very close friend unalived they where 12 and 13 and three of my kids had a gu….nnn pointed at them. My son was going through chemo and he waiting for his drive when someone came up and pointed the weapon in his face and robbed him. I was so scared for him and all my kids that went that of course. The violence became normalized and apart of everyday life . It’s so heartbreaking. 3 of my children still live there and will never leave. Even the dentist that went on a mass killi…..ing spree my family knew him he was my mom’s dentist for yrs . It absolutely breaks my heart . In my heart Nova Scotia will always be my home 40 plus yrs but it has changed so much . This is not the Country I want my grandchildren going up in. I pray every day I ask father god to bring peace all over the world and let every child grow up free of violence. They deserve better , we all do.

I have lived in west end Ottawa my whole life , moved south of Ottawa over 20 years ago and I don't even like going into the City anymore especially alone ...If you ever want to meet for Coffee and Truth talk , I am always around ...👍👍😁
