@thebudgetmomlifebible: I honestly think we’ve started believing we have to make childhood magical every single day. But when I look back at my own childhood… the memories I treasure most weren’t expensive or planned. They were the random summer afternoons outside. The bikes. The sprinkler. The popsicles. The boredom that somehow turned into the best adventures. That’s why I’m trying to give my kids more space this summer instead of more entertainment. Because I don’t think childhood is built in the big moments… I think it’s built in hundreds of ordinary afternoons they’ll remember forever. 🤍
