This is so true. I had the highest standard set for him on our first date. I told him I was only dating for marriage. I let him know that he had one year to date me. If at the end of the year we did not progress I would move on with no hard feelings. At month six he had already remodeled his home to make it how I would like before I ever said I would move in. Which I also said I would not do before we were engaged. On our one year anniversary he proposed. He set our wedding date six months from the proposal. Who knew all I had to say was my standards.
