This is my fear. Everytime I see quick break lights on the 401. I know I’m safe from the front but I’m terrified someone’s gonna come crashing in behind me.

It’s not the truck crashing that amazed me. It was that suv that sped forward as the other drivers tried to avoid the accident and that one suv driver saw the truck plowing thru as an opportunity to move ahead !!

Guys it's called distracted driving, lack of defensive driving. Eye lead time. You should be looking 15 seconds ahead, which is equal to 2 to 3 lights. Setting yourself up for any up coming obstacles. Triple LLLC = Look ahead, look around, leave room and communicate. The only place you can control is the front of your vehicle. I have been driving school bus 28 years and a trainer 8 years. I have seenbit all. Patience is so important. Stay safe everyone

When I go drastically under the speed limit (due to traffic), and am at the back of the line. I always turn on my hazards, You and the people in front of you are technically a hazard on a highway. Hopefully the people behind you are paying attention. 😬

it also can be another vehicle cutting the trucker off. it happens alot. if u have a hugh load in the back then how are u going to stop properly

got passed by a transport doing 120 km/h yesterday on the drive down the 400, …just sayin’. They probably had really good brakes and could stop on a dime.

I take the FLIX BUS from Ottawa to Cambridge monthly. I can see into the cabs of these big rigs. 9/10 of those drivers are TEXTING AND DRIVING!!! On the busy & congested 401!!!! I reported a few. This is now how I keep myself busy on the bus rides. I record all those dumba$$ drivers just waiting to take innocent peoples lives in a split second
