Believing and knowing aren't same, if you only believe you will be controlled and be in bondage, but if you know, you will come to realisation and have freedom, that's why the Bible says you shall know the truth, not believe the truth. Knowing is far better than believing, and your believe becomes stronger when it's driven by knowing and not by what you were told.
