As the mom that FREAKS OUT in a serious situation, my husband is the calm to the storm. I would freak my kids out if I was the one in the “drivers seat”. So I can totally understand why you called your husband.

sadly..I have to be the strong one when it comes to shit like this😭 my husband can not handle bodily fluids/injuries well at all😭 one time our son ended up with nursemaid elbow from sky zone, we weren't aware that it was nursemaid elbow, but we took him to the hospital to make sure it wasn't broken.well they were trying to get an X-ray and all they were doing was just trying to turn our son's arm to get the right position.My husband passed out. I had to move the hospital bed by myself cause he was wedged between it and the wall and all the while my son's still hurting. that wasnt the first time he literally out cold passed out on us either😅😂 so we just don't holler for dad in times like that lol I'm waaay better at handling anything blood/vomit/poop or potentially broken bones😅

My husband is a fireman. I'll ALWAYS yell for him. I'm very aware I'm not calm when my kids are panicking so if he's around to keep the situation calm for EVERYONE... I'm yelling for him.
