I'm convinced that the vast majority of Genshin complainers have never played another game other than gachas. Cuz a lot of what they hate is so totally normal for other games. Like "women show too much skin!" Have we heard of Bayonetta? Dragon Age? Baldur's Gate? "This thing doesn't make any sense and feels so out of place for the world!" So you've never played a Final Fantasy or an older Zelda game. If you took the gacha aspect out of Genshin, it would still be a very complete open-world story game, with very normal mechanics for that genre. It irks me so much that the majority of players reduce it solely to the gacha system when that's not even the core. That's just how they have to make money because the game is FREE. If they didn't have gacha, easily a $60 - $70 game, even without being "complete."

"why does this nation not have ruins everywhere? it doesn't look like it belongs in genshin." Complain impact can never be happy. they could get exactly what they want and still find a way to complain about it.

What really gets me is when you tell them that if they are suffering while playing the game, then taking a break or even quitting is an option, and they act like that's the end of the world. Most of them have actual addictions to the game, and it's really concerning...

and if you tell them to stop playing and find another game they call you a d rider, or defender of the multimillionaire company, like i’m giving you ADVICE just sell your account so you can get money back 😭 and they aren’t complaining about actual good criticism (skip button, better rewards, more resin) instead complaining about the designs… guys the FANS determine what sort of designs are made so they can SELL irs how they make their money, and they do all this complaining about the designs, the repetitive designs!! and pull for them 💀 i have seen a lot of ppl pulling for sandrone .. like guys i thought we hated her design??

omg the hostility from some of these people is INSANE. I made a video talking about how I almost forgot that Nicole wasn't the first playable angel and it was actually Zibai's, bc Zibai's story came and went so quickly that I was forgetting about her. And someone melted down in my comment section about how this is a "water is wet ahhh video" and "literally everyone already knows this and this video is wasting everyone's time who has watched it". It was a 57 second video!!! oh no!!! 57 seconds goober will never get back. It also got a lot of comments from other players who almost had the same oversight for the same reason. so like obviously it had value to someone lmao. These people can't just not engage with content that is not for them, and sometimes that content is the game itself!!!!

As an og genshin player it’s SO exhausting seeing all the complaining. YES hoyo needs to fix a lot of things but there’s still so many good things abt it. Not to mention the hundreds of other gacha games they could play that cater to the different things they’re looking for

I wish I was able to skip some dialogue and have a summary of the scene. It’s easier for me to understand what’s going on especially if the dialogue is dragging on. Sometimes if the dialogue is so long and drags, I’ll lose interest and forget what was happening. Having the skip option with a summary would help me out like it does with the other games. That’s one of the complaints I have. Another one is the weapon banner. I wish the weapon was at least guaranteed all the time to make it fair somewhat.

Companies in 1990’s and 2000 to 2018 tbh be sayin “Oh, let’s make all video games fun for the community no matter the issues or consequences.” Nowadays in 2020 to 2026 they like “Oh, yeah we’ll just make to game to make millions who cares bout the community when you just need a thing of green paper that’s more important than any human’s dignity, virginity, and plus humanity.”

The only complaints that I have for the game are things that I wish were added and that Hoyo was less greedy with genshin specifically, but they've been steadily progressing toward that anyway
