📍Mui Supper Club, 967 Rose Ave, North Bethesda, MD 20852. Mui is located in Pike & Rose and if you’re familiar with Pike & Rose, this used to be The Block Food Hall. It was interesting seeing how it got transformed into a completely different space, like you’d never know it used to be a food hall. I’ve been waiting for this place to open for months and I can’t wait to come back. I walked in and said wow! It’s beautiful and the staff were all very nice. If anyone is confused by the portion sizes, their items are served tapas (small plates) style. I can’t speak for the drinks because I didn’t order any (they also don’t have mocktails yet) but here are my thoughts on everything I tried: Smoked Wagyu Gyoza: This was yummy and the mushroom XO sauce was a nice addition. Good presentation as well. I would order again. Chef’s Special Pork Belly: Tender, and the ginger citrus sauce was like a burst of flavor in my mouth, like wow! Sake Toro: This was good and very close to my favorite sake toro from Kenanki in Gaithersburg, so I was happy! Robata Gyu (short rib): Tender and flavorful and I should have ordered more than one skewer but by the time I ordered it, I had already eaten multiple things on the menu 😂 Raw Oysters: Very refreshing especially with the watermelon granita. Slightly sweet and not savory. Robata NY Strip: This was just okay to me, could have used more flavor and a personal preference would having it been more tender. #DMVFoodie #DMVRestaurants #RockvilleMD #NorthBethesda #WashingtonDC
