@antdaviscyber: A researcher promised Microsoft something "bone-shattering" back in June. Yesterday they delivered. A new Windows exploit dropped hours after the biggest Patch Tuesday in history, and none of those 622 patches cover it. #cybersecurity #windows #infosec #zeroday #techtok
The registry should have been replaced years ago. Horrid thing

This researcher goes by a few aliases. Nightmare-Eclipse is the most widely used one across security outlets but lots of places were using Chaotic Eclipse, which is the blog name. Same person, same grudge against Microsoft

You really have to ask why there are so many bugs in operating systems.

My personal believe is the reason windows has so many holes is to allow American gov snoop on others easier. Else there is no reason why each new version of windows has more and more holes even when it gets update every other day! Notice many atm still use windows 98 or windows xp? Anyway I am not in the tech industry and this is just a layman’s logic for all this. I switched to Linux and some how feel much safer now.

windows was well named, it pretty much makes your privacy available for all to see. I'm sure that's why the name was chosen so ultimately they can't be sued as they were transparent with you since the beginning

Microsoft had developed a massive reputation for not honouring their big bounty.
and somehow Microsoft thinks this is a good idea.
unless, they're doing it on purpose, maybe this is their backdoor
