One of my favorite episode. They look so maturely meant for each other. I love Aang but he is too childish and boring for Katara like Katara has an attitude and it looks intense and happy when it comes to Zuko.

The most meaningful part of this episode is Zuko lets Katara take the lead in everything, he only steps in when it’s needed or necessary for backup. It’s that shared sense of grief and anger for their mothers that lets them understand each other too.

tbh Aang never really dealt with katara’s anger ‘cause he was focused on calmness and forgiveness EXEPT it was his trauma. but from gaang I would also add sokka to list, he’s literally katara’s older brother they were biffing all the time 🤭
